Default long crank to start and radical idle

I have just finished putting my motor back together and I started it up and it takes 2times to start and when it does the rpms go up and down and it sounds like it has a big cam and as soon as you push on the gas it acts like it floods out and dies. I have replaced the aic valve and the tps sensor but I dont have a second o2 sensor hooked up any idea what would cause this would be greatly appreciated thanks

I would check fuel pressure for the starting problem and look for a vacuum leak for the idle problem.
