Cool PIAA 6" Offroad Lights Installed (Behind Grill) 2011 Sport

Well I have my projectors and HIDs installed. Yes I can see the world already but driving up north at home.

Just say an 800 pound moose can cause a lot more money in damage than a cheap (well not cheap but ha ) set of offroad lights.

I think they look pretty sick and damn are they ever BRIGHT!
Sorry about the picture quality, cell phone was all I had

What do you think?

Are they long throw light? I believe it is HELLA that makes an HID offroad light that would have matched. I know its a little late now but it would have been cool lol.

I personally like the look, lets see down road lighting comparisons?

Yeah Hella do make HIDs

These are driving Lights I had a set on my nitro previously and love them. I didnt want to get HIDs due to the fact I use these as my high beams on the highways at night.

The on/off/on/off wouldnt really be the best for these puppies.
Took them out lastnight and I love em.

But will definitely post pictures later, just hard because Im at a hotel for 6 nights. Shoved those in last night ha

Sorry for the slow respond busy with my running boards tonight ha

But actually I attached them to the top support beam

There were already two access holes from the top, just had to drill out the bottom and done. Had your hole to shove your light mounting bolt threw.

If you remove your rad cover (the plastic cover the moment you open your hood). There is a support bar right under that. Its easy to spot .
Mounting the 6" lights on that put them perfectly looking through the top portion of my grill

Heres the only picture I have that you can sorta see what Im talking about

What do you think?
I think you should giver, this was a simple mod. Hardest part is hiding the wiring and also running the switch into the cab. I hate firewall gromets...

I used some wire wrap for the wires so It looks stock from the factory.

The PIAAs throw off a fair bit of heat dont they? I really like how they look behind the grill, but Im wondering if theyd melt the grill if I had them on but wasnt moving very fast (to keep the temp down). Whats your thoughts?
