Default The Whistlin' Windshield

Hi Everyone....I have read several threads on windshield wind noise over the past month or so.....always thinking that theres no way that could be, must be the door windows....well, now Im a believer. Driving on the NJ Turnpike today, at about 70MPH, my Son said, why is there so much wind noise in here? I said it must be the new windowflectors I installed last week....after a couples of minutes he said, wait.....its coming from the windshield area. Right away, those threads popped in my head, and I said...s**t, part of the club....now what? Just live with it, or take it to stealership?

New truck. back to the dealer, and give them a ride to let them hear it.

The only time I hear wind noise is if I turn my fan off. I know it sounds weird but try it, with the fan on any setting I don't hear wind but turn it off and I get the wind noise.

i have the whistling noise too i have a shorty antenna with no spirals in it i heard somewhere this could be the cause im am gonna pull it off today and see if it is the culprit otherwise before i take it to the dealer for warranty i am gonna take some painters tape and start with the sheild and tape all the seams an if it goes away then i will tell the dealer if not i will do each door indivdually first before i go to the dealer sounds like a pain but i would rather have hard evidence so they can not say it is normal let me know what u find out thanx

The shorty antenna is definitely the issue. I knew that going in and it was confirmed after the install. ~60-70mph I get a disgusting whistle noise that bugs the heck out of me...nothing a turn of the volume nob cant fix.
