Yeah maybe.... The only way I get ride of it if it's bad is take them out and blow dry inside.

Will drilling a hole for an HID installation cause condensation problems as well?

You already have 2 holes in the back of the housing, one more won't make a difference to the amount of water vapor entering. Just make it as small as possible and use a grommet to prevent actual water and fluids from entering.

I put silicone around the grommets and also around the back cap. Seemed to help.

I thought that I would make an addition to this thread.

I just picked up my new 2014 RAM 1500 SPORT CREW CAB 4X4 6'4" BOX late Tuesday evening. I didn't notice it when i picked it up and I was home all day yesterday (Thanksgiving). However, tonight I noticed condensation in the headlights of my brand new truck. With only 60 miles on the truck, it can't be from any road damage. But; it is cold here, so I have to assume this is still an ongoing issue into the 2014 model year as well.

This is not how I wanted to start out my first impressions of the new truck. The last Chrysler that I bought was in 1978 with a Plymouth Horizon. That left me with such a sour note that it has taken me over 36 years to get over that experience to try a Chrysler again.

I hope that I haven't made another big mistake... <sigh...>

When i put hid in my lights 2 things i noticed was..1) the hid wiring is close to the cap(cover) and if not done correctly actually pushes on the cover and it doesn't make a good seal.So when i did mine i center grommet with the bulb socket. When i made the hole for the grommet i made it as small as possible..Also there are 4 i believe plugs (tan in color)caps make sure there all pushed in over the rubber.lastly when putting the cover on make sure it seals even if not it will leak air..i pulled mine off the cap a little as to push it back in when putting cap on..So far i have not had any issues with my projectors..Hope this helps.

Put those smoked covers over your lights and you won't see condensation. Problem solved.

i am going through this now as well also other issues,,, quite afew and there are new ones weekly on my 2014 sport,,,, dodge says that condensation around the parking lights is normal and will go away in 20 minutes of driving,,, in humid wet rainy or after a car wash,, I think its bullshit but that's what they say,,, if its not actual drops of water in front of the headlights they will do nothing,,, don't worry there will be uconnect issues and and dash cluster issues, and do yourself a favour and check your paint and alignment!

I purchased a new ram 2013. Head lamps have moisture. 2 days old! dealer stated run with high beams on high for 30 minn to clear. Sound like a dumb Idea. Not happy with this. Will this moisture make the inside of the lights fade in time?

When I first got mine I noticed a little moisture. It went away on its own.
