Default Turbo Tuning with Diablo Questions

I was just curious if anyone was tuning a turbo setup with their diablo tuner, be it the predator, trinity or intune. If diablo is able to tune our engines for turbos, what are the limitations? I have gone f/i in the past and am considering doing it to my current ram. Thanks in advance for the advice!

The limitation is you need the cmr software to do the tuning yourself. When we talk about tuning these, it's normally a tune written by someone like Johan, white lightning, or hemifever. Since you're dealing with a 3rd gen, there are lots of others who have done solid F/I builds but you'll still run into the same tranny issues the rest of us have had where you'll shortly melt the prime gears with anything over 450hp unless you get a lot of custom tuning done for the tranny, and disable cruise control.

Now, you're in luck if it's your '05 that you're interested in because the iem3 software is compatible with your truck so you can do all the custom tuning you want, provided you know how to do it.

Sorry, that's iems3, stands for integrated engine management system. Basically it's a complete standalone engine management system, but you definitely need to know what you're doing to use it effectively.

If you're not 100% or don't mind having a very steep learning curve, then get a hold of one of our trusted tuners and work with them on your custom tuning needs.
