It amazes me that people choose to live in such places.

I laughed!

90F and 164% humidity? Yeah, no thanks - for me.

I ran a half marathon in Miami last month (my 29th overall, first in FL), it was ~60F and a bajillion % humidity. It was the hottest I think I've ever been running - and no where near as hot as AZ.

Then again, it's 10F right now where I grew up...don't think I could ever do that again either.

I was working outside in this weather on a genie boom the other day. I had to dress pretty warm. I've seen -50F here. We get up to 100F in the summer time, I think the record is 102 or 103. I don't think I want to try 113.

Good to know that. Up in Maine it get damn cold, and we've hit temps that low before. Now if I see those dash marks I'll know somethings not broken, just that it's really really cold out!

I've been working in -40 the last few weeks, prefer it over +40. Any day. With cold you can keep adding layers, with heat can only strip so many layers before charges are laid . Besides, if I wasn't out fixing the gas pumps, how would our dodges get there daily intake of fuel?

This saturday we are supposed to be -50F but in the valleys it will be close to -65F! That is without the windchill.

that's stupid. how do you even function in that?? can u even do anything outside or do you just stay in doors on the time. I can't imagine there being attire even close to warm enough for that. wtf

sounds like hell to me. I'll stick with VA weather
