Default Tire Grip

I don't know how many of you have this problem, but every single time I drive on a wet road after it rains, I always manage to break the tires loose from the pavement, and I'm not trying to either. and I'm not even giving it that much throttle. Maybe half way sometimes. The truck has fairly new tires. And traction control is on.
I can drive very carefully and not have any issues, but these things break loose so easily, I can't believe it.

I believe the hemi. Is that good but it does depend on your tires, I know my 4.7 will do it to and I am running master raft courser axt 275/65/20's

Stock Goodyears are crap! Got rid of mine at 13k miles because of the wet weather traction. I am now running Nitto Terra Grappler G2. They will still break loose but takes a good bit more throttle for them to do so.

I got rid of the stock GY's for that very reason, plus they were flat out deadly on snow and ice.

I don't live where it rains much, ( 6 or 7 inches a year ), & i couldn't stand the way the GYs take a corner when there is a fog mist on the ground.

I bought Michelins long before the GYs wore out

I bet you have an open diff. I'm willing to bet that an open diff combined with the stock tires is causing it. My dad has the open diff in his 2009 and his loses the back end much more easily than mine (I have a limited slip) when its wet, though I can spin my tires on dry pavement.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one with this issue. I'm looking at getting a pair of Falken wildpeak A/T's. I had them on my 98, and they were fantastic in all weather situations.

I have lsd and still had the issue with stock tires having very little traction in the rain.
