Default 2010 - questions about using bilstein 5100's

I have purchased the shocks with the goal of running a larger tire....maybe 35" x 12.50" x 17 or 18 ( maybe not that big). I will be getting an aftermarket wheel with an offset so clearance shouldnt be an issue. From reading a lot of thread's and post, there are various opinions on which setting to use ( 2.1 or 2.8). Curious as to what the potential problem area's would be with running 2.8 My question is, would installing the Kore cv's with there upper control arm alleviate the problems altogether or make them "not as bad" Not wanting to spend 1500$ if it only half solves the issues.
I know with the total for shocks and additional kore components im getting close to the price a lift , but I dont want to run a 6 inch lift because i use my truck mostly on the highway and the lift would require tires that are not highway friendly so that it doesnt look ridiculous.....imo
Any personnal experience with bilstein 5100 and/or kore would be great.
Thank you

Same as Deadl1FTA said. No issues. I have the same thoughts as you about being mostly driven on the road. I hunt and fish and tow a travel trailer. So, I needed tires that were great on the road and worked well on dirt roads with a few stream crossings. So, I set my Bilseins at 2.8 and got 275 65 20's and have had no issues for a year now. Go for it. I seriously doubt you'll have any regrets.

Installed the Bilstein's and set at 2.8. It really does make a world of difference to the look of the truck. My truck was even more nose down with the addition of a 4 light lightbar on the front and these took the nose of the ground. Ordered my rims/tires yesterday, just hope they fit. Got Dick Cepek DC2 wheels in 18" with some Mickey ATZ 305/70. Has any one ran this combo before? If so was there ny rubbing/scrubbing issues? Thanks for any feedback
