No, certain programmers can disable MDS. I don't know which ones as I don't have MDS and don't have to worry about it.

Ok, guys so after a few weeks of moving and what not I finally had time to clean the throttle body and unfortunately the problem is still there. One thing I have noticed is that the issue is only when i have the truck in drive and not when I have it in park. So now I know it's only when the engine is under a load. Time to do some more tinkering! haha

Default I puzzeled too!

If you figure it out let me know. I have replaced the injectors ,TB, all of the sensors, also checked for broken valve springs etc. It is either the ECM or a lobe on the cam has gone out of tolerance.I will probably go for a new ECM first.

The cam seems like it would be a little extreme depending on how many miles your ram has and/or how much work you put it through. I'm fairly certain that it has to be related to a sensor or something vacuum related (maybe a bad hose somewhere) possibly. Have you ever tried doing a hard reset? I believe it can be done by unplugging the ECM for a couple hours (or so I've read on the forum) which is something I'm also going to try. Honestly If you were considering throwing cam/ECM kind of money at the truck I would recommend paying the smaller diagnostics fee at your local Dodge dealer, which could actually end up saving you a lot of money. Just remember they prob have one guy there that does drive ability test all day long and may know the solution right off the bat. I will keep you updated on what I find and if I get a solution!

Recommend using brake cleaner vs TB cleaner.

Mine does the same thing. Heard from a buddy that it may stem from the HEMI containing two spark plugs per cylinder and that its Dodge's attempt to save gas by allowing a lower RPM idle (due to the extra plug in each cylinder). Although, I do know one plug fires with the compression stroke and the other with the exhaust stroke, I have no idea if he is right about this allowing the lower RPM but just thought I'd throw it out there.

if it annoys you just turn the A/C on or pump the gas a little and you'll hover at 600 RPM.
