My point being that why wouldn't Ram use that CAI as OEM equipment if it truly gained 2 to 3 mpg? That is a huge gain in the MPG wars. They would be King for sure.

Not being a jerk, I just find it hard to believe.

I agree that it is a little higher than I would expect. Although I dont think the OEM equipment arguement is valid either. I got 22mpg in my diesel with better injectors, lift pump, AFE stage 2, a better tune, exhaust, and a programmer. So why wouldnt Cummins or Ram do that? I think a good CAI can produce 1-2mpg better. If Ram were to release a CAI then customers would have to either constantly clean a dry filter or constantly re-oil and oiled filter. That could also keep customers away. So I think there are multiple factors to why Ram doesnt do certain things. I think a good CAI can provide 1-2mpg better.

The CAI doesn't give at increase of 3MPG otherwise everyone on this forum would have one. Yes its is louder, but its doesn't increase horsepower or gas mileage. Not trying to be a jerk, just stating the facts so that someone reading that doesn't go out and buy one expecting those results.

Use cruise control. Helps out a lot so as to keep your foot out of the pedal.

Your photobucket links don't work for me. I get an error message when I click on them.

The Photobucket links don't work for me either. I was looking forward to seeing those Toyo tires on a stock setup. My buddy has a set on his Chevy Colorado and he really likes them.
