Default New sub boxes

I first tried 8's in a downfire under the front seats in my 06. Not enough room and to much dampening. This weekend with some measurements and calculations I did a front fire, under the front seats, and man what a difference. Sounds great and clean.

looks good how much clearance do you have between the box and the seat?

Thanks

About 3/4" to the cross bar on the seat frame at the front. Plenty of room to the rear and to the seat cusion springs. These JBL's require .3 cubic foot of space sealed or 518.4 ci. Took some time to get everything figured out on size and fit but all is good.

Btw, I did have to do a little mod to seat frame. Nothing major. On both front seats rails, towards the center, I had to cut and file the factory harness clip which sticks out about an 1 1/4".

Sounds great as opposed to the same sub in a downfire configuration. Tuning the system I noticed a rattle on one of my subs under the rear seat and it has me confused? Any ideas?

I can always find time, I'll give him a call for you, where was the rattle coming from?

From the sub itself. Sounds like there is something laying on the sub rattling during play.
