Default Air Suspension Yes or No

To the few on here that already have the air suspension on your trucks.
Do you like it? Would you get it again?
Those of you with a 13 that didn't get this option, do you wish you would have? I realize it is too soon to ask but I plan on ordering soon.

I got the air suspension on mine, just came that way. Its not bad, I dont have running boards so droping it makes a difference. Too bad it cant just auto drop to the lowest in park. Driving in the city doing under 40mph you can maintain offroad 1 any faster it will drop you back to normal. I havent tested long enough on highway\freeways to tell if the aero mode makes a difference in mpg. I'm in Canada so we go by L\100k I got 3.92's and it does about 5 to 7 L per 100k at 30mph. My brother in law got the same truck, 3.92 no air suspension, 105km/s he was getting 10L\100k which seems decent to me..

I think its a fun feature for now i may get over it, i like jacking it up when i park at the mall or so, I see a benefit when I'll change the oil too, lift it up..

I test drove one with the air and one without. I actually found the coils to be smoother and ended up buying coils. The one thing that really disappointed me with the air suspension is In Offroad 2 after 40kmh the truck went into override and dropped to regular ride, after 80kmh it dropped into aero mode. This might not be a problem in some locations, but out here on the prairies bombing through a field at 60kmh isn't uncommon, even 80kmh, . Not having an override to lock into the ride heights was the deciding factor for me.

Springs are the way to go. Too many parts with bags. When the rubber rots, you will be paying bucks. Or what if the compressor goes out.......too many parts.....My truck rides better than an Escalade......

I'm actually thinking about adding the air ride suspension to my 2010, I don't off road and I like the lowered look when parked and easy entry. I'm going to go with an aftermarket air management system so I can preset my own ride heights with the height sensors. If I drop the front 1" and 3" on the rear, I would think the ride would be softer than stock coils. Any thoughts?

I was certain I was going to order the air ride but am now reconsidering.
I loved it on the test ride and the whole concept. Why I am now
wavering is concerns about reliability and there was a thread about
if you overload it a code would be set and could result in warranty being voided.

The air ride suspension is proven via the Grand Cherokee. Regarding the payload/warranty issue, I'm troubled there as well. Just tow a small trailer if you think you'll remotely come close to overloading on payload. I drove both...air ride is the way to go.

With the air suspension, is there the ability to see the actual payload weight? Has anyone managed to exceed their payload and had the vehicle notify them? Anyone experience "protection mode" as a result of excessive payload?
