Very sorry for your troubles....The damage can be fixed and that expense is a one shot deal. The tickets are another issue altogether. I have a feeling that your next insurance bill is going to be very painful. Hope there wasn't texting or cell phone use involved.

Oh boy, good luck with that one. Reminds me of a friend who had a pristine Isetta (The odd BMW small vehicle where the front of the vehicle is the door for access to the drivers seat). He had to take it in traffice to the mechanic and asked his wife to follow him in his truck for a ride home and to protect from "the idiots on the road". First traffic light he stopped at, his wife ran into the back of him and totaled his Isetta. Sorry about "your baby".

All kidding aside.
  1. Take truck to a good body shop and see what it would take to repair your bady.
  2. If it's not too much then get it repaired.
  3. Don't let your wife drive the truck. (This is more advise than anything).
Oh and most importantly don't ever let her live it down.
Damn! Almost forgot. Check with Texas state law and see if it is legal to shoot a spouse for denting or wreaking a truck.

This. Some people just shouldn't be allowed to drive.

That's going to require a lot of work being as it looks like it got the door, cab, and bed.

hmmm I wonder how she will react if she finds out her mistake is on the internet. Get it fixed, ask her to pay it and move on.

Be nice, Kate and another lady backed into each other in a parking lot and we have a creased bumper. Take your wife on a driving date, be a coach, not a critic. When we can get up in the morning and look in the mirror and see we are 100% perfect maybe than we can help others become as great as we think we are. It sucks your truck is dented up but this happens. Fix it and enjoy your truck, wife and living.
