Default New Order Placed !!!

After waiting the last couple of months to order a 4x4 CC Sport with an 8-speed and air-ride in copperhead pearl, I finally saw what the black gold looks like. I ended up ordering a 4x4 Laramie Longhorn in black gold with white gold accent. My order is: EZH 5.7L V8 HEMI MDS VVT Engine DFD 8-Spd Auto 8HP70 Trans (Buy) PUG Black Gold Pearl Coat APD Lower Two Tone Paint QWL White Gold Clear Coat *XJ Premium Filigree Leather Seats -U1 Canyon Brown/Lt. Frost Beige XFH Class IV Receiver Hitch XB9 RamBox Cargo Management System SER Air Suspension 4-Corner GWA Power Sunroof GFA Rear Window Defroster DSA Anti-Spin Differential Rear Axle ADB Protection Group ADC Convenience Group YEP Manuf Statement of Origin DMH 3.92 Rear Axle Ratio XHC Trailer Brake Control 4EA Sold Vehicle 170 YGE 5 Additional Gallons of Gas. The last couple of months have been hard with no order placed. At least the next few months are out of my hands now so I can quit bugging my dealer and just sit back and wait.

With all that sweet stuff on it
i hope you ordered the RA4 radio
it would be a shame to have all that & only a RA1 radio
by the way, you also should order the RH1 Remote CD/DVD player, it is no longer part of the radio itself

The new radios now control the seat, steering wheel, & all the climate temperatures
It is also the way to control many settings on your Instrument panel

Congrats on the new truck, I ordered its near twin. The only things different on mine are the exterior color and no filigree on the seats and no sunroof.

The RA4 radio is standard on Longhorns. I didn't bother with the CD because I never use my current one and I plan on putting a safe in the center console. I would have much preferred it if it came with an in dash DVD player instead.

Congrats on the truck. I too have ordered a 2013 Longhorn and I am still waiting. I didn't go with the air suspension due to some of the conflicting reports that I got from some of the mechanics. I have been told that the air suspension has been around for a while but the novelty wears off after a few months, then after a few years you start looking at the lines leaking and other issues. I just went with the coil springs. Please post some pics when you get it. That colour is absolutely beautiful....

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, of the things I didn't order, it was becaue they come standard on the Longhorn (RA4N radio, spray in bed liner, leather bucket seats, power adjustable pedals, remote start, etc.). The only two things I was (and still partialy am) on the fence about is the 2-tone versus the monotone and the laser etched filigree seats versus non etched. I didn't want anymore chrome than I had to get so I went with the 2-tone since I like the white gold frost accent color and I love the wheels. I figure the laser etch on the setsdistinguishes the interior as a Longhorn. The Sport I was going to order was equipped the same way minus the memory seats, radio, mirrors and pedals and I was staying with the cloth interior.

After seeing the picture of the Black Gold and confirming that it is much darker than the Ram website I changed my mind towards the Longhorn. It was the 8-speed and air-ride that drove me to the Ram in the first place. I was all set to get a Chevy until I found some Youtube videos comparing the full sized trucks. I saw a video of the Ram with the coil springs driving over railroad ties and the producer commenting on how smooth it rode. I started looking into the Ram a little after that and then I came aross the 8-speed and air-ride. I never looked back.

I plan on getting the lifetime warranty since I do plan on keeping the Ram for the rest of my Life (or the Rams whichever ends first). I would have never considered the warranty had it not been lifetime. I can't believe they even cover the shocks. I figure as long as I keep detailed service records (which I have always done) I won't mind being the guinea pig for the new technology.

Yeah, the RA4N radio comes sandard on the Longhorn otherwise it would be ordered as well. I had no interest in the remote CD player since it is only a CD player and not a DVD player. It takes up valuable console storage room and my entire music collection has been converted to MP3s and fits onto one 32GB SD card. I would have chosen it though had it played DVDs. My mother just bought a Dodge Journey Crew model from the same dealer and her 8.4 radio has the CD/DVD player in the dash. Hers will play DVDs when in park.

Make sure you read the fine print before you buy the lifetime warranty. I was looking through the Maximum Care plan to see what was covered and none of the air suspension components were listed. They don't provide a sample copy of the warranty to read but their website makes it sound like it has inclusive coverage (if it's listed it's covered) whereas the basic warranty is exclusive (tires are excluded, everything else is covered). Believe what is written on the contract not what comes out of the salesman's mouth.
