Default Charged for warranty work?

I dropped my truck off at the dealer for a couple different issues yesterday. First was the cruise control was shutting off randomly when i pushed the accelerate button. Second was the integrated trailer brakes were not working. Got the call to pick up my truck and they said they couldnt find a problem with the trialer brakes. When i got there to pick it up, I was charged $150 since there wasnt a problem.

Couple things here. This dealer had verified there was a problem about a month prior and told me to make an appointment. I used the same trailor before and after, it didnt work when i dropped it off but did work when i got it back. They said they had flashed the PCM to fix the cruise control, would this had done anything.

I am wondering if they can do this.

Any advice would be great.

Call the number in your owners manual and complain to Ram. This doesn't sound right.

I have been trying to get ahold of the service manager, but havent recieved a call back yet. Next step will be to call the general manager and, if needed, the RAM hotline.

Service manager called back yesterday afternoon. I explained the situation and he was going to "look into it" and call back. Still waiting.

I would not wait long before calling the Chrysler hotline number, that is BS for sure.

Got a call back from the service manager. It was an exercise in frustration, but I will be getting a refund. Haven't seen it yet though. I will be letting ram know about my experience anyway. Thanks guys.
