Default Help with lift question

Ok i am i really confused. I have 02 1500 2wd, with a 3 inch Rough Country lift installed. I have heard many things and don't want to waste money. I have the steel 17 inch wheels. I want to run Goodyear Duratracks at 315/70/17. My question is will they fit. I can buy a spacer if need be, and trim the fender well. I just need to know, so i don't spend 1,200 on tires and have them not fit.

Any information is helpful thank you.

Hard to say for sure because all tires are different. You could try measuring it out. Those tires could range from 33-34 inches, I believe. (((tread width X aspect ratio) x 2) /25.4) + rim width= tire height in inches. I just did a 2" torsion bar level lift in the front of my '04 1500, and my 285/70/17's fit really well (They never rub anywhere). They're about 31.5" in diameter. Hope this helps
