Default 08 lift questions

I have an 08 1500 crew cab 2 wd I already put lift spindles on it and looks good I really would like to go up another 2" my question is I have the 5.7 engine and instead of use spacers I would rather use a lift spring can I use the 2500 5.7 engine or will I have to revert to the spacers I do alot of pulling with my truck thats why i am wondering? The second long question is I noticed the other day that on the rear of my truck, drivers side sits up an inch taller than the left side I am guessing I am going to have to get a new set of leaf springs I am already deciding on a add a leaf to give me more towing and also support? And the last one is I am running stock 20's right now and would love to upgrade the tires at this time instead of the rims I am wanting to go with 305 55 20 but I am wondering if i am going to rub the new spindle any help would be great?

I can't help alot but the 305s should be fine, but could cause rubbing on the stock rims.

I just did the same thing - put 3" spindles on my '08 Dodge 2wd, already had a 1.5" Daystar spacer. Added 2" blocks in the back and sits pretty level and looks good. I am now running 35 x 12.50 R20 Pro Comp Xtreme A/T's on stock rims with NO rubbing issues at all. Hope this helps! I'm in the same boat, leaning hard towards a 2' or 3" body lift next.
