Default sales code RHR?

Good morning all,
I just got a 2011 3500 longhorn yesterday and was looking through the manual. It mentions a 430, 430N and 730N wih sales codes RBZ, RHB and RER. Mine looks like the picture of the 730N but has a sales code of RHR. There is no mention of this in the manual. Can anyone tell me if it is different from the RER?

If you look at the lower right hand corner of the radio you should see the R** code. As far as the #'s IIRC anything with a N on the end has navigation. Hope this helps.

Thanks. Do you know if it has any different functions? I remember back in 2011, I was looking at a sales brochure and I remember something about a truck with a wifi hotspot or something. does that sound familiar to anyone?

The RHR has all the same functions as the RER, minor wiring differences, but nothing you need to worry about.

The WiFi is and alway has been an add on. It may or may not be on your truck.

the RHR 730N is an improvement of the RER 730N both have NAVTEQ maps
most people prefer the RHB 430N with GARMIN mapping, Garmin is more accurate

you can check out your radio at
http://www.oemautopartsco.com/
they have the most information available about the radios

RHR also has the Sirius Travel Link which gives you local weather, gas prices, movie schedules, etc.

The gas prices are very accurate, a handy feature. As far as Garmin vs. NavTech.......my RHR is spot on.

I have had no problem with the way the RHR routes. The majority of the complaints that I've read on here are from owners in Canada where it can route you 500+ miles longer than the shortest route. The plus is that you can vocally enter new destiniations while driving without a lockpik or similar device. The database can be a little off, as it routed me to an nonexistant gas station near Gettysburg PA, but turned around and routed me to different one a little farther away.

As far as WiFi, I would get a sniffer, or if you have an android (or iphone) there are free aps that will work as a sniffer. Turn on the sniffer before you turn the truck is on to see if there are any new wifi signals after you turn the truck on.. I'm willing to bet that you don't have the built in wifi though. I'm thinking it's one of those options that very few opted to put in. Dont' forget that it's an additional bill to pay every month (or year) for the privilege of having. My Verizon Myfi brick is more flexable then one mounted inside my truck.

One of the other features that the 730n has that the 430n does not, is that the 730n has traffic information on the maps. Nice feature when using GPS, it will route your around the heavy traffic. Only down side is, that living in Southern California, it reroutes every few minutes since traffic is nightmare here in Hollywood.

The new 430n's have the Sirius travel option too. I had the 430n, I liked the features and ease of use and look of the maps compared to the 730n, but the traffic is what sealed the deal for me.
