Default help! truck running wrong

The past few days when I head out for the morning about 10min into driving my 3.9 just bogs down and acts as if it has no power even when I nail it will just sputter and buck and sometimes back fire. After like 10 min of feathering and revving its fine. WhatsWhat's wrong?!

Sounds like you've got a sensor on the fritz. Question is, which one. I'd pull the AIT and clean it real well, see if that fixes it. A can of Seafoam in the tank and through the brake booster hose wouldn't hurt either. The Seafoam will clean some of that crap out.

The AIT is the sensor that takes the temperature of the air going in to your throttle body. The computer leans or enriches the gas according to the temp.

A bad 2nd bank (aft) 02 sensor will affect it. You should change, or have it changed, out.

DOH! Didn't know it was a standard shift. So it's prolly not the tranny. Not really sure, now. Hopefully another member can chime in with some ideas.

I had an 89 Dakota with that engine and tranny, and although it was lighter than the Ram, I still wasn't impressed with the get up and go.
