I think there was a recent thread on here a couple weeks ago about this very topic though I don't remember what year model it was talking about. Maybe someone can chime in with more exact info but until then I'm pretty confident the stock 275/60/20 tire will weigh around 40-45 pounds and the rim I would guesstimate to be around 30-35 pounds.

I would take an educated guess at about 60-65 lbs mounted! Those tires are very light. I know I went to a Mickey Thompson 35" and the new tire is 72lbs and it weighed more loose than the stock assembly.

Ehhhh, I think they probably weigh a little more than you are guesstimating. I was basing my guess on my Cooper Zeons in P275/60/20 which weigh about 46 pounds each. I did a little digging and Amazon lists the shipping weight of the Goodyear Wrangler HP in that size at 42.4 pounds. As many of them as Amazon has handled I would say that's as accurate of a number as we are going to get without personally putting one on a scale.

As for the rim, I couldn't find anything quite as accurate but there are several threads on various sites listing weights around 35 pounds for the stock rim. Also, there are a couple of vendors that sell through Amazon that have the 4th gen 20x8 OEM painted wheel listed at 37-38 pounds.

Based on those numbers I would say the stock combo is 75 pounds minimum and very likely closer to 85 pounds.

Here is the exact tire weight of that GY product. Wheel is aluminum with a plastic cover. I doubt very seriously it weighs more than 25lbs. A tractor trailer alum. wheel that is MUCH thicker weighs 45 pounds. I guess I could be off on the wheel but don't know how.

I checked another source that I would deem reliable on the tire weight....Tirerack says the tire weighs 42 pounds, same as Amazon. Your source says 40, ehhhh, we are close enough there.

As for the wheel though, no disrespect at all intended but I think you are still underestimating. I will be the first to say that I do not KNOW either but I am going on numbers I have found from various sources online.

* Amazon lists the 4th gen 20x8 painted rim at 37-38 pounds.
* A thread on another Dodge forum lists the same 4th gen 20x8 painted rim as weighed by the member at 36 pounds.
* I actually just ran across this thread on our very own forums. FastNugly weighed a factory pulloff from I assume his truck, a 2012 Sport, and the combo weighed 75 pounds.

http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=120472

So I feel confident in saying 42 pound tire + 33 pound rim = 75 pounds. Looks like we were both a little off. You said 65 pounds and I know I said 75 pounds as a minimum but I would have guessed closer to 85 pounds.

Well, my source on the tire weight comes from Tire-HQ which is Goodyear's internal ordering and info site. I am pretty sure it is correct.

OK, his were the 20x8 chrome clad which is a steel wheel with the chrome over it I think. '

Mine is the 20x9 which is aluminum with the plastic (chrome look) over it. Wheel is super light. Don't know what the difference is but I know my wheel when I had them off putting on my 35's were super light.

I have a 20x9 stock aluminum chrome clad rim in my shed with no tire mounted on it and another stock 20x9 rim with stock size tires, not sure what brand though. When I get home form work tonight I'll put them on the bathroom scale in the garage and let you all know exactly what they weigh in at. (My bathroom scale is calibrated for exact weight, no cheating here)
