Default Check Engine Light On

My 2013 Laramie with 400 miles has a check engine light that keeps coming on. The dealer said its a communication problem between computers. When driving the instrument cluster will pop up the following message Memory System Unavailable Not In Park, yet haven't touch the recall button. Today my factory remote start wont work, i get a Remote Start Disabled Insert Key message. My compass is all sorts of messed up. And now my eco light/symbol wont work. Im pretty ticked off, the dealer cant get me in till next thursday. Anyone else have issues. Thanks

I don't understand; your dealership didn't address it?

Its probably just one little thing causing all these issues, with this bus system you end up with all sorts of crap between all the parts in the truck when one has a headache.

If you go stomping into the service department demanding this and that, don't be surprised if they keep putting you off. Doing that at my dealership is guaranteed to get you and your problem put on the back burner.

So I went to dealer this morning and calmly talked to the sales manager and he promptly got the ball rolling. They got my truck in right away. They again found a communication code error and called Chrysler and we are still waiting to hear back from them(they have no record of it happening on another truck). They ordered a new memory recall switch in hopes of fixing that issue. They ordered a new rear passenger door panel to fix the led door latch light. The remote start is fine, it is automatically disabled when the check engine light goes off and they same goes for the eco light. So when the parts are in they said they will take a closer look at the communication error. They mentioned something about a buse cable or system. So we will see...

What is a "memory recall switch?"
