Default 2 leveling kit on stock 07 ram 1500?

hey guy just curious wanted some opinons on some stuff here.

1. leveling kit on stock 20 inch ram wheels with tires? i was thinking 2 inchs or maybe 2.5 but didnt want it to look odd with the stock wheels..

not sure what kit to go with and i was hoping someday to squeeze a 35 inch tire and 18inch wheel in there but no idea on tread something differnt that no one has and not to loud on the highway because everyone and there sisters have b/f tires or nittio mud grapplers.

any help or idea would be great guys just kinda throwing this out here for some ideas since this is my frist truck. and i wanna do it right.

Thanks!

I have a 2007 leveled with bilstein 5100 leveling shocks. You can set them at 3 different heights. Here is a pic leveled with 35" federal couragia M/Ts. But there is a variety of A/Ts you can look at. my wheel offset is -12mm so I can fit the 12.5" wide tire (the width is what gets us, not the 35 inch height) so make sure your aftermarket wheels have atleast a 0mm offset if not a negative. (if you go that wide of a tire, which most 35" are) hope this helps, feel free to ask more questions. I just went through this whole process. highly recommend the bilsteins

hey thanks for the help and thats pretty close to what i want for height. truck looks good man. and seems that the bilstein kit would be a good choice! now how will this effect the ride of the truck i guess it all depends on the tire i pick out for the truck.. also

ill be honest with you and tell you that at the maxed height, it will be a little stiff. so if you want to avoid that you have to go to the next lowest setting (i'm not sure what heights off the top of my head, it's different for the 3rd gen bilsteins as opposed to the 4th gens). Now, i also don't know how the 35s clear with the next down setting, I'm sure they still would. And yes the tires do play a roll, i have those chunky mud terrains but a nice versitile A/T would be good for you. Check out mickey thompsons A/Ts...since you want to avoid the all too common BFGs and Nittos

I have a 2007 Ram 1500 and I used a Tough Country 2"-2.5" leveling kit. There are no adjustments to make and it leveled the truck out good. It does make it a stiffer ride but not too bad. I have had this leveling kit in for 2 years now and have never had any issues at all plus I think the set only cost me like $78 on sale. Hope this helps.

Gonefishin 776, I also have the superchip 3865 Flashpaq. I've been trying to get some advise on the setting for the advanced tune in the performance 91 tune. Not sure how to adjust these setting for maximum performance. Could you help me out? Thanks!

I don't know much about the fine tuning. I just set everything to the "superchips" option whereever i could.
