Default Fender Flares, Emblems and more...

I love this truck...it's almost there

Today I added the Ram 2500 fender flares. Sweet deal on pre-painted ones on eBay. I specifically wanted these to drop the front edge of the flare a little below the headlight. I saw this on another Ram on this board and it's perfect. Flares on black really blend, so I'm very pleased with the result.

Finished debadging the stock side emblems and replaced them with the custom 345 Hemi emblems. Again, another eBay guy but he does more sales on the side and you have to be willing to wait a month. Worth it - I ordered more and designed a custom dash plate I'm sending him to make.

So with the 2" lift, stripes, etc., it's all coming together. Should have the leather interior replacement in a week or so. I'm redoing the inside with black and a flint perforated inset like the SRTs.

Still haven't decided on new tires but that's going to have to wait. I've successfully drained my fun money cash reserves.

Mean looking truck man! Can't wait to see the rest! How did you go about de-badging the truck?

Wait for a warm day and gentle slide a plastic putty knife...than either a rubber wheel specifically for removing the adhesive or spray adhesive removers...plenty out there. After that I polish and buff the area or you'll see where they were no matter how good you remove them...at least on black.

Looks awesome!! Can't decide if I want stripes and even if I was sure I did want them I'd be pretty scared to mess it up. Nice job!!
