Not sure if the difference was me getting a Ram HD, but it was a stand alone option...

Keyless is a must have option for me on any vehicle that offers it. I really like the rain sensing wipers too. They don't turn themselves on automatically. If you don't want to use the rain sensing function, you don't have to. I seem to recall reading that the high beam assist can be disabled in some menu.

my wife has it on her altima only you have to press the button to get in and that was a must have option on my truck. was actually a major factor in what i was gonna buy. if it didnt have it i would have waited another year.

This is something I didn't think I would care about but it was on the truck I bought. I've only had the truck a couple of weeks and this one of my favorite features.

My dad's caddy has it and it is awsome to have.. doors lock by themselves when you walk away too.. Also some way to have the suv start when you get close to it, he has only had it for 2 months and still figuring it out.

Also about the key fobs.. My uncle for some reason bought a KIA Optima with keyless, and inside the glovebox it has a charging station where you just put your fob in this port and it can charge it while driving. Thought that was a nifty feature.

My next truck way down the road.. will for sure need keyless.

As far as still being able to start your truck if the fob battery is dead, I am sure like the challengers there is actually a key blank in the fob and you can pop off the keyless start button on the ignition module and there is a key hole. Hope this makes sense
Do you have any Pictures or videos you can post, I cant find anything on the net regarding this.. My neighbor Dave (yeah Dave is here) found this....

There is no key hole to start the truck. If the battery dies you can use the key in the fob to open the door. Then push the start button with the fob instead of your finger.

I plan to have a spare battery in the console for the fob.

They say you can't lock the fob in the truck. However nothing stops someone from locking the fob under a tonneau cover. So if that ever happens to me I have a back up plan. Whip out my phone and open the truck with Uconnect. Once in the truck the tailgate opens.
