Default Sixfive's Super slow mod/upgrade log

Just figure I would start a never ending mod/build/upgrade log which should be loads of fun because I have no goals, ideas or money I might throw in a few how to's and what not to do's.

I did have plenty of pix but lost all the even numbered ones on my PC for some reason(I will fix with a hammer later)

The first thing I done when I got the truck was fix the ashy faded antenna mount
Used a small pair of vice grips with tape on the jaws so it wouldn't mar the antenna nut and put a rag against the finder just in case the vice grips slipped off. The paint I used was the rustoleum black hammer finish.

Next up was removing the damn silver pinstripe.
Before

After

Will have better pix later.
Tools used teat gun on low just to warm the pinstripe to make it more pliable and use my thumbnail and a soft touch to peel it off, then 3M adhesive remover to get the glue left overs off and goo-gone to clean up the residue the 3M left behind.

Looking good! I'm loving the color
From the first and second posts, it appears you dipped your badges.. I'm one for chrome but looks like it came out sharp.
Keep it coming!

Painted the grill badge with black caliper paint which matches the texture of the bumper lid pretty good imo.

Left the background of the badge the factory black.

Bought the oem black badge local for $15, may put a few coats of clear plasti dip to give it a satin finish to see if I like it better than the gloss.

Small changes in the engine bay

Figured I would see what red would look like on the dipsticks and caps to match the other oe hints of red on the wire connectors and such, look pretty good to me so far. I don't know what I want to do with the engine cover yet as far as color/colors, full custom hydro dipped or stick with my original plan of what I think the OEM should look. Im waiting on another factory oem air box to mod/improve maybe with some kind of mopar theme.

For a guy with no goals, ideas, or money, you're doing a pretty damn good job, brother!
