Default Overhead console?

Hi,

I have a 2013 Ram 1500 Express that does not have the overhead console. Is that something that ya'll sell?

And sorry if this is a dumb question, but is that something that can even be added to my interior without too much trouble? Or would it be too much of a headache/costly to be worth it?

Thanks.

I know this has been done by several. At most you need to fish up a power lead to power up your map lights and what not. You can also find these new ram style ones on ebay but you will need the mount bracket.
Look on ebay at the MANY to choose from you have a chance to a custom install.

As mentioned many have done it. You need to cut an area out of the headliner for the mounting bracket which the console attaches to.

If your adding map lights only then all you need to supply is a power feed. No harness' are available as they are part of the headliner.

Here is the price on the Bracket:
RETAINER-OVERHEAD CONSOLE
Make: Dodge | Part#: 55365119AC
List Price: $44.20
Your Price: $30.48

The basic overhead console is as follows:
HOUSING-OVERHEAD CONSOLE
Make: Dodge | Part#: 1PQ03BD1AA
List Price: $104.00
Your Price: $71.36

Other members have mentioned the use of the following connector pigtail to power the lights:
WIRING-3 WAY
Make: Dodge | Part#: 68064999AA
List Price: $34.00
Your Price: $23.46

This may make it easier than soldering directly onto the terminals

Thanks for the reply man. I will probably look into having this done.

Thanks, Benny. Just to clarify, the bracket and console listed above will include the map lights, correct? Not really interested in just installing a harness and lights, would rather have the complete console.

Sure but this is where it can get more expensive and difficult as you cannot purchase the harness to connect to the necessary module.

This console is as follows:
HOUSING-OVERHEAD CONSOLE
Make: Dodge | Part#: 1PQ06BD1AA
List Price: $99.20
Your Price: $68.43

and requires this module to be located within it:
MODULE-COMPASS
Make: Dodge | Part#: 68105821AB
List Price: $219.00
Your Price: $150.65

Theres about 4 pins in the connector but you only need to supply a fused power and ground.

I have an off beat question for you the gray trim around the out side if you pull down on it does it just pop off . I was interested in taking mine down to paint it but i don't want to ruin it?
Thank you in advance

The gray and black part would be removed together by pulling straight down on the Front part but sliding forward after the front clips disengage.
