I honestly dont know what to do here.
I have a 2010 Ram 1500 quad cab 5.7 hemi auto 4WD with 90,000km , and my mom has been driving it for a while since her truck is out of commission. she went to wash it and came home saying that there was something leaking on the wheel, so I went to look and sure enough, the passenger side CV boot popped a clamp again, (the one that joins to the wheel).
The frustrating thing is I've had this happen so many times that It seems like I have literally changed them every 5000 KM when I change my oil. Ive had both sides reclamped before, had both CV shafts changed once because the tulips seized, and had boots changed from rips. The last time I had my boots reclamped? 3800 KM ago. I know its under warrenty, and I dont think It is me, I hardly use 4WD, never go off-roading, and always switch from 2wd to 4wd below 50kph.
Im resigned to thinking that theres gotta be something else wrong here besides the book. They are going to change it under warrenty again, should I get them to check anything, such as a bad hub, bent axle, or wheel bearing? I just dont know what to do anymore.
