Default Uconnect unlock

I've got the 8.4 system and was wondering is there an unlock available so that I can play movies via USB and input nav directions while in motion? I'm also interested in a forward facing camera! Any help out there guys?.

Nav-TV (a vendor here) has a solution. I've ordered one and just pending delivery...hopefully this week or next.

Lockpick said two months for their solution and that was last month. I've always had lockpicks (x6 of them) and they are great. Looking forward to Nav-TV solution to add the rear camera, unlock the video, etc.

did you get the RA3 8.4" radio or the RA4 8.4" radio with High Definition sound ??

I believe that either or both NAV-TV ALLGIG or CoastalTech Lockpick is about to release their adapter for the new radios

Zixxer, NavTv solution is now available to order? What was the price if you don't mind me asking? I have headrest monitors in route and was waiting to hear from NavTv when this was available so I could tie everything together.

Which headrest monitors did you order? Been looking at different models.

I don't use either myself & i have a much older radio

I use vocal commands to control my Navigation, while driving
You should be able to use the RA4 the same way

for the Manuals go to this site & fill in the information
http://www.ramtrucks.com/en/owners/manuals/
click on UCONNECT MANUAL, it is a PDF file

go to page 178 of that manual starts the 8.4 AN radio

I have not sat in a 2013 Ram to be able to know where the VR button is ( that is the face in profile that has 3 ((( or ))) in front of it ). i think it is on your steering wheel
If you are not using the phone, you can press that button & say GO TO NAVIGATION (page 238 of the manual), page 240 gives you some voice commands that can be used,

On my radio, after the Navigation map shows up, i can press the VR button & say NEW DESTINATION, the voice in the radio asks a series of questions like
STATE? CITY ? would you like to enter a street name ? would you like to enter a house number ? & then finally, would you like to start route guidance now?

I practiced using the voice commands for Navigation while sitting in my drive way, it is not something to practice while actually driving, it is just too weird for my aged brain
