Thanks auto, can you post a picture of your ride? Did you have any trouble with the tire shop saying they wouldnt mount the tire on such a narrow wheel?

And is yours a 1500 or 2500? Straight axle up front?

I'll try to get some pics up, Mine is a 2500 with a straight axle up front
The tire shop had no problems. I have a few friends who run 35's on their 2500 Hemis and diesels without issue. The only issue I have personally seen is when my friend put 37's on his factory wheels (I think 3 or 4" lift) He has a 2012 diesel. This last summer we had 105* days here in Nebraska and one of his tires BLEW off his wheel when we stopped at a gas station. I think those tires bulged too much on the side wall, and once we stopped for a few minutes, the heat inside the tire rose slightly and blew the bead off the wheel. Everyone at the gas station thought we fired off a gun cause it was loud!!! We were surprised that it happened, but we understood why it did.

Thanks for the picture. How wide are your wheels? I'd like to see a 1500 ram because we have upper ball joints that are really close to the tire... i'm not sure if a 35 will rub the uca.

I believe they are 8" wide, but don't quote me on that.
Go to your local tire shop, ask them to mount a 35 on your truck to see if they will fit.

I've had 3 diesels before this truck....my first Hemi. But to answer your question, I live one mile from work, I don't haul anything anymore, I don't tow anything anymore, and my snow pushing days are over too. Iam a firm believer that the diesel motor likes to be worked A LOT and I don't work my trucks that much anymore....hence the gasoline Hemi
So far Iam happy with the motor....OH, and diesel is $4.10/gal right now versus $3.59/gal

Haha, I dont blame you. I would love to have a diesel, but like you I dont have the need for one.. Every once in a while I haul a 24ft trailer with 4 atv's on it. The hemi handles it just fine. Also, I dont see many 2500's with hemi's in them.

1/4" spacers are pretty cheap at jegs....i wouldnt go for factory so i ended up buying after market 17's so i wouldnt have to chanch it...all the measurements i took told me it would rub even with the spacer....
