Default Anyone have an A.R.E tonneau cover?

Did a search here for ARE and had zero matches. Do any fellow members have a ARE LT cover on their RAM? If so, can you post a pic, please.

I just ordered the ARE LT for me new 2012 last week and hope to have it by next week. I was looking at the Lear 550 or the ARE LT as I just wanted the flat type cover - both are the same cost. I decided to go with the ARE for two reasons: I like how the latch operates by turning the handle, which retracts the locking bars at either side and the ARE has a fine indented groove down the top on each side. I'll post up pics once I get it installed.

Well, no responses yet so maybe I may be the 1st to own one? I'll post pics and give a quick review once I receive it.

Person I work with has this cover and in my opinion it's the best looking one out there for a solid cover. I looked into getting it too but I haul to much junk around. Post some pics! Thanks

I don't have it on my current truck but I've owned two in the past.

One on a recent Ford and another on a GM.

Everything about it was outstanding!

You made a great selection.

Congratulations.

for me its a toss up between the bakflip tri fold and the ARE .

with the hard cover it realy limits you to putting anything in the back large . and the bakflip can flip once and just use the far back or twice or the best part is it flips all the way up and you can still fit a quad into the bed . and just flip it back when your done.

but I do like the color matched hard covers -- very sleek

cant wait to see your pics

The ARE's are really not that difficult to take off every now and then should the need arise. I wouldn't want to do it every week, but now and then is not an issue.

I had to pull my ARE on my Ford off one time and dreaded it. But it was a breeze.

The catch? You'll need another person to help take it off.....you will literally injure yourself and/or damage the lid trying to lift it on your own.

Went back on as easy as it came off.

I liked the bakflip, too but I do not see me carrying a lot of tall cargo which would require me having the full open bed - but it's a great system. In the end, I preferred the color matching hard top and when I started looking, the only brand name I was aware of was Leer.

Finally have my ARE LT tonneau hard top. I had Capworld out of East Orlando order/install and they did a great job.

Here are some pics - it was hard to capture the subtle line/indentations and raised tail of the top in the sunshine - so I added a few from inside my garage.
