Default Transmission whine

After a long trip to Tahoe I noticed a whine noise coming from the transmisson between gear shifts. It's very quite but noticeable if the radio is off. Does anyone else notice this?

Like any good salesman would tell you... "Just don't turn the radio off. In fact, turn up a little more."

My '10, '12 and 13 Rams all had a slight whine from the 5/6 speed when going slow at or around he shifts. Fairly common complaint but I chose to ignore it and never had a failure of any kind. Some say it has something to do with the cooling lines mounted to the radiator but I never tried the fix.

If you search around the 09+ sections you will find it mentioned quite a few times.
