Default so I was changing my oil and say something weird

I was changing my oil this weeknd and saw something weird. There is piecw of drop down square tubing attatched to the frame on each side before the k member and after the front bumper. .. what is this?

If it's not sealed, I would think it would be a point in which a post could be inserted in to it, used while the frame is traveling down the line in the production phase.

Ya they have a sealed. Plate covering the end eth a threaded hole. Just look under the front of. Your truck and you will see what im talking about
