I almost bought this cover because I like the roll up feature as well as it being in a solid state while unrolled but $700 is an awful lot of money when I can buy a Truxedo soft roll up for $300. I guess Ill just keep waiting in hopes of catching a good sale cause the product looks great

I had the Bakflip F1 on my previous truck and it was great as well but I was looking for a secure cover that didn't block my back window when up this time around. No regrets!
Exactly why I sold my F1 and considering on putting the Roll X on mine as well if I don't go with the Leer cover
Great review and thanks for posting pics

Do you know if they do the Roll-X with the Rambox on the 6' bed by chance?

If you have the QC which I am assuming you have based on the 6' requirement, then no.
Bakflip does not have any cover that will fit the 6'4" bed with RamBox.

We do have Access, Retrax and Truxedo covers that will work
Let me know

My criteria for a cover would be solid, not just fabric as I don't want my stuff to walk away in 30 seconds of a guy using a sharp object.

I was hoping for something that when opened up wouldn't block my rear window, but I may not win that.

And I was also not looking to use a separate key for locking as my latch does that automatically.

So what does that leave me with?

Oh and yes I do have the quad cab, 6' box with RamBox.

Thanks for your help.

Let me answer a few here....
Now the 6' bed with RamBox deletes a few options right off the bat.

But a hard cover will tend to block your rear window when open. Its hard to avoid this
Also, to avoid the use of a key to lock and unlock the tailgate is easy....you will need the Mopar power locking tailgate kit.
Which we can get for you.
It will need to be installed, but then it can work with your current key fob and will lock and unlock at the press of the button.
I still have to do this to mine and always get blown off till I constantly have to open my tailgate.
This will get done for me this summer.

Enough about me and back to you...LOL

Again, we do have the options mentioned above unless you find something else and we may be able to get it

Let me know

Thumbs up

I have the BAKFlip Fibermax and Love it. But I'm really stuck on the Roll-X. My Buddy has one on his Dakota and it looks Awesome. At first I went with the Fibermax because I liked the security and flip style, but once I saw this Roll-X, it's security features and the ease of the roll it really sold me.
Plus I've been working out a great deal with the BAK Factory Outlet, Drew is very knowledgeable of the BAK products and I didn't feel pressured, at all, to buy right away. He gave me his info to contact him when I'm ready. Now after seeing these pictures I think I'm going to get it now.
Thanks Guys!
Anyone have an extra spot on their couch? Cause I'm sure my old lady is going to be mad when she sees this credit card charge... LOL

LOL!
Just sell your fibermax either before the purchase of the roll-x or after the roll-x
I personally sold my F1 in favor of another cover or the Roll-X and it will probably be the cover I go with as well.
Same security of the Bak products, Same quality with the exception that it rolls back vs flipping up and blocking your rear window.
Plus it has the soft cover look, which I what I wanted from the get go, but nothing 7 months ago was available with this Roll X

Either way, if you would like to give us a shot to at a no pressure sale as well. Let me know
Otherwise, keep us posted on the cover and I to will post my feedback and probably an install video. What is one more video.....?
