I've heard that even though it has a factory higher stall that an Edge or Circle-D is a night and day difference... BTW you have a really sharp R/T!!!!!!!!!!

Default

3000 is about the limit for a daily driver, even then it can be a little high depending on the type of traffic you get into regularly. A higher stall on a DD will cause a lot more heat to be generated in the TC because it's not locked up and working at its peak efficiency. A high stall can also cause a decrease in your MPGs if you have it too high because you'll continually be spinning the TC's impeller faster than the turbine, wasting engine power to fluid losses and heat instead of spinning the turbine side.

Now, if you plan to do more track time or spend time at or above 3000 rpm, then I'd say go for it, otherwise it might be better to stay with the 2400 or go as high as 2800 for a DD.
