Great.. thanks! Good to have an idea of the cost in mind before pulling in.

Am I correct in getting the 2.5" for my truck or would the 2" be better? Is there really much of a difference in the final look/ride?

2.5" gets you practically leveled but I personally like some rake and would do a 2".
But that's only what I'd do on my truck.

I am also doing the 2" HBS kit. If you go 2.5" the wheel wells will be level but I find the way the hoods are it always looks higher on the front, what some refer to as Cali lean. I personally don't care for the nose high look, but it's your truck and its whatever look you like best.

Okay all! Due to two unforeseen work trips to Germany since my creation of this thread.. husband is finally home to foot the bill for my leveling kit, install and alignment. A few final questions before I take the almighty plunge into my checkbook...

I will be purchasing from HBS in Ogden, Utah.

If I want the front and rear wheel wells to be as even as possible and if I do not haul often.. which is the best kit option for me.. 2" or 2.5"? (I have gotten equal feedback/votes in favor of both.. but I am still a tad unsure.. especially when someone mentioned a Cali lean..?)

Is it best to have a remaining 1/2" in rake? Is the general consensus that this will result in a better stance than leaving no rake at all? (Will my hood really look as silly as some have said?)

Will an alignment be necessary after the kit is installed? (Some have mentioned that it is not always required or needed.. is this true? And how will I know if it is or is not needed?)

Will I need to change my shocks at all?

Do I need to purchase Anti-Sway Bar Drop Brackets?

Thanks one last time for your feedback! Looking at ordering this kit either tomorrow or Wednesday! I will certainly keep you all posted on how it turns out (and with pics, of course!).
