I got mine from Amazon, they had the cheapest price I could find. I checked several site sponsors and they beat all them plus I got free 2 day shipping.

Just picked the truck up from the exhaust shop. The installation looks good. Not much sound difference in sound over my flowmaster weld-in. That's what I hoped for cause I'm not into loud drone. It did seem to help the acceleration which is nice. Can't wait to get the headers on and tune it Saturday. On another note what plugs are you guys running?

The 08+ 4.7L uses a different head design and ignition setup, so it's different plugs. You have 1 plug per cylinder, I have 2 per cylinder. I'd either stick with coppers or go to iridiums, don't get any of the other stuff, it's mostly gimmicks. They all basically perform the same, the longevity is what changes. 30k for copper, 100k for iridium.

I like the longevity of the iridium since I drive 40000+ miles a year. What brand do you think is the best?

I dunno I use ngk in my buell and they run good. Bosch is what comes in the 08+ 4.7L.

Just be sure the heat range and the specs are the same(reach, etc). Heat range descriptions vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, FYI.

Got the manifolds off in two hours by myself this morning. Hope to get the new ones on by lunch tomorrow and then tune. This has to be the easiest header install I've ever done. If you take the fender wells out the manifolds are right in your face. I replaced the PCV and I'm going to check/regap the plugs tomorrow.

Well the headers are on. I really feel like the truck can exhale now. The throttle response is improved by 100%. I didn't put the tune in yet because I'm confused as to which option to use. The only "performance" tune listed in my flashpaq is 91. I thought I would have an 87 tune as well. Is the 87 tune the one that is listed in the book as the one that keeps your car from needed premium gas if it came from the factory that way?

You should have an 87 performance tune. I'd call superchips support.
