Default Green horn looking for lift advice

Hey everyone im proboly as green as they come on this forum. But I have been doing alot of lurking and searching since recently buying my 07 Dodge Ram 1500. Anways like everybody and their brother i wanna lift my truck but I dont know what route I wanna take. I been looking at body lift, suspension lifts, leveling kit, coil overs, bilsteins and im kinda confused. I know most of yall hate on the 3" body lift but does it really look that bad?? and isnt it increase space in wheel well without sacrificing CV angles?? Is it possible for me to go with a 3" PA body lift and 2.5" level OR 3" and bilsteins 5100's and later down the road do a 4" or 6" lift?? Would this setup kill my ride quality/CV or does a body lift with suspension look stupid because of the frame showing?? Any guidance would be awesome!

You sound like youve done a little bit of homework. If you wanna go the cheap route for now and are handy. I would grab a 3" body and Bilsteins or leveling kit for the front. Give you a full 5-6 inches and will look great! These dodge do a really good job of hiding the ill after effects of the body. Plus theyll both work with a suspension lift if yo go that route later down the road.

I would look into the zone offroad body lift as well...I've heard alot of good about them and think they have better bumper brakcets than the PA body lift (beefier, better quality)...im sure someone who has one can chime in a little better...

I'm looking to get the Bilsteins 5100 for my 07 as well in a few weeks...I think I'm going topguncustomz to order them...

yeah buckwild, im taking the same route. body lift and a rough country level. eventually will get bilsteins and a 6" suspension lift, prolly 37s. i would NOT advise going through 4 wheel parts though.

I would agree i went through them for the wheels i ordered and it took them over 3 weeks to get from california to iowa...seems it bit ridiculous, but let me know how the body lift goes, I'm looking on doing the same thing
