Default So I'm back and forth....

So I am back & forth on lifting my 2010 1500 or just leveling it out with the Bilsteins. I worry about the Bilsteins making it wobble in 4wd and I see all sorts of problems with lifted trucks. I still have the factory tires on & know I'd be happy with a new tires & wheels, but don't need anything extreme. I'd be happy with BFG all-terrains. Will the 2.1 setting on the bilsteins keep it from getting the wobble?

Also, the XD MONSTER in chrome is what I'd like to put on for wheels. Any idea which size would fit my truck? Once it started talking about backspacing I had no idea what they were talking about?

On a side note, any idea why you can't use a 17in wheel on a 6in Sky Jacker lift?

I belive the reason you can't use 17 inch rims with that lift is it they won't clear either the knuckles or control arms.

I'm going to have to see if I can look up pics of the lift with both sizes to see where it would hit at.

If you're really worried about wobble (which only happens in 4wd under fast acceleration from stop to go), id set them at 1.4 which will give you a leveled truck running a 6" lift.
