Default Devouring stock rearends

I have an 03 with a 6in lift. I have rebuilt 1 housing 3 times thought there maybe an issue with a race seat or bearing caps. So I found another stock 9.25 rearend. Now I'm hearing a funny noise on acceleration. The noise is a kind of a high pitched creaking or maybe a popping sound. Don't really want to spend more money hoping to fix the problem before another rearend grenades. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh I have 35's.

Well do you offroad with your truck? That could cause problems. If your truck is constantly eating up the stock rear end then i would suggest an upgrade and a bigger rear end. Popping noises could be a number of things. If you have replaced it already could be a fault used rear end or something else in your drive train causing the problem.

What do the components look like when you rebuilt the other rear end? Was it the same problem every time?

I do offroad but my truck spends more time on asphalt than it does in the mud. And as far as the components looking the same. The first failure was due to the lock for the clutch pack on the stock posi unit breaking off and making a 1/4 deep gouge in the carrier bearing caps. the second was a pinion bearing failure and the third was also a pinion bearing failure while going 40mph which sent the pinion gear through the bottom of the housing. As far as an upgrade what would yall suggest?

it sounds like what happens when ppl neutral drop all the time. What size is your truck? What I would do is just get a size bigger axle. So if you have a 1500 then drop some 2500 axles under it.
