Default Question for the Waxing Pros!

I love my truck just like most people maybe even more. Since i have owned her I have always washed her with Meguiers and Waxed her with Castle Special Finish. She is electric blue pearl and a 2008. Never sees winter or rain if i can help it. I dont know if anyone has heard of this product but I would love to learn more about it and hear other peoples reccomendations. I know there is probably better stuff out there but being that Castle Special Finish is synthetic i figure it would last longer?

Sorry, can't really comment cause I'm not a pro, however I have never heard of Castle. You might ask Primo or Leadfootluke they are the "experts" on this subject.

Castle is a pretty popular brand of automotive product - at least in my neck of the woods. The most popular being their glass cleaner. The special finish product i spoke of is not available over the counter but is available to dealers. My friends brother has a body shop and suggested it to me so i have gotten it from him. Please find more info on it here http://www.castleproducts.ca/Catalog...ialfinish.html

Go to autopia.org, it is a world wide professional detailer site where pro detailers talk about the products they use and show examples of their work. You can ask if anyone uses Castle and what results they get. The site is free--remember that the site is like many others---some people are really helpful and others, well not so much. I've had pretty good luck in asking questions and getting answers however some members are reallllllly impressed with themselves and their work. Leadfootluke and Primo on this site are a couple of good resouces you can rely on for accurate information--IMHO

well that depends on many things...you want Over the counter products, or something specialized...

also, do you really want a wax? like a traditional carnuaba?

there are many different types of last step products that are synonymous with wax, like coatings, and sealants...that helps confuse things more..
