Default So I decided I'm going to be smart with my tax return....

As much as I'd love to do a lift...I think I better play it smart to keep the truck lasting or there will be no point in putting money into it.

my truck will be due for an oil change by the time my tax return comes so while it's at the dealership (free oil changes for life there) I want them to just check/change everything. Spark plugs, fluid changes, anything. I dont even really care if whatever it is is only halfway through it's life..I want it changed so I know for sure when the last time it was done. I've only had the oil changed since i bought it and have no idea what was done previously.

I know I posted an OLD OLD thread about routine maintenance but I'll ask again. What should I have them do? Money isn't quite an obstacle because I want the best for this truck. Any tips/suggestions?

I don't know how many miles you have on the Ram

I didn't go by the Owners Manual recommendations

At 42,000 miles i changed transmission & rear end fluids, at the same time i had a different differential cover installed, it has a fill & a Drain plug, the drain plug is magnetic. I also changed to Royal Purple fluids at that time.

At 80,000 miles i had the Coolant System completely flushed, i think the Power Steering fluid was changed also.

When i need to replace my Brakes, i will have the Brake Fluid completely replaced

For me, it is a peace of mind thing

It will have 82000 miles on it when I take it in for the next oil change. So, like I said I have no idea if the previous owner did the trans/rear ends fluids or brake fluids. SO I will have them do all that.

anything in the engine compartment such as spark plugs etc that can be changed? wires?

Definitely a peace of mind thing.

this is true. and I've been more inclined to do things myself lately but this time around I'd rather have someone do it. then as the next time comes ill do it At the appropriate intervals

Make sure they grease all the available fittings, like u-joints, steering linkage, etc.

I forgot to mention. Keep an eye out for the color of brake fluid. Believe it or not, it will get dirty and break down overtime. Taking out the fluid out of the reservoir and bleeding the system with new fluid will prolong the brake components.
