Default Help!!! New Wheels and Tires.

I have a 2011 Sport 4x4 that I want to replace the tires and wheels. I currently have the 20'' chrome clad wheels with the factory tires ( which are horrible to say the least ) . I am looking at either going to an 18'' wheel with a Nitto Terra Grappler 295/70/18 or a 16'' wheel with the same tires but in 315/75/16 . My main consern is if these tires will rub or not. The wheels have a neg 12 mm offset so Im hoping they stick out a bit as I will be buying fender flares soon enough. Oh, yes it has a ReadyLift 2.5 level kit on the front already. I would really like to go with the 18'' wheels by 2Crave that I found but am open to anybodies ideas as well. I actually was going to stick with the factory wheels and just put some 275/65/20's on it but after seeing a bunch of different trucks with after market wheels on them , I just cant resist . Not sure if I am going to lift this truck down the road, if so maybe a 4'' lift but thats still up in the air . I am also open to suggestions on tires and sizes as well. Just dont want to make a error when purchasing these things. Thanks for any help .

I am running 37x12.50x17 BFG AT's on mine, my wheels have -12 offset, I have minor rub at full lock left, but I"m also putting a 6" lift in the next week or so, personally I would go with the set up you are describing, but don't go any smaller than 17" wheel, in order to clear the caliper

Thanks alot for the help, I had no idea that I couldnt go with 16's , but make sense. I am still on the fence if I am going to even lift the truck , either way thats down the road if I do. Thanks for posting some pics as now I see what the Sport looks like with fender flares on it. Your truck is awesome and I have done quite a few mods as well , only thing I have left for now is wheels and tires. Thanks alot for the help!!!
