even my buddy who works at chrysler canada head office had no clue. guess its one of those corperate secrets.

with all the additions and changes to the 2013 I guess they had to leave a few goodies to add to the 2014.

I have no idea why people need power folding mirrors? I have never really seen a need to even fold my mirrors. What is everybody doing that they need to constantly fold their mirrors back?

Could the lack of power offering on the tow mirrors have to do with the shape of the mirror arm and the size of the motor and mechanism required to power fold? the regular mirror has much more real estate where this would live. There would have to be a redesigned mirror to accommodate the mechanism, and perhaps they didn't want to have to restock all of their parts...
In looking at Toyota and Ford power 'tow' type mirrors, there is a much larger area in the two shafts and the bump out in the housing where it connects to the door.

I'd get the tow mirrors if they came in power, but alas my garage door width and idiot drivers around me dictate the power fold smaller mirrors

I can see why some individuals may want to grab the power fold, but I went for the tow mirrors and haven't missed the power fold yet. In my situation it's definitely a worthy sacrifice!

I have about 1 inch clearance on both mirrors when entering my garage, so I would use power folding mirrors every day.

If the option was available I would of opt'd for it. I have to fold my mirrors in when backing into the garage. I have no problem folding them in on my own but it would have been a nice feature.

I'm kinda torn on the subject. On one hand, Like Camens stated, I have to fold my driver mirror when I pull in the garage every day. It will fit but it would be tight so why risk it. Also, I like the convienance of all the options I can get. It would be nice on a cold, rainy/snowy/windy day to not have to put the window down to fold the mirror. On the other hand, every power option is another option that will probably go bad over time. I don't know if I want another thing to deal with in 5 or 10 years. I kept my last truck for 14 years and I plan on keeping this one longer. My brother bought a new Ford a few months before me and his has the power telescoping and he wishes it didn't.
