Default Modification question

Hey guys,

I just bought a 2011 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Big Horn in white and I was looknig to add a few modifications but need opinions.

Truck as it currently sits.

I was thinking of installing Black window visors, a black Brush Guard and tinting the windows at about 20%. I am unsure how all this black will look with the factory installed chrome.

I have to be honest, normally I dislike chrome but this truck in its current format drew me in. What do you think? Should I add all these black accents on top of the chrome and white paint or just leave it alone with tinted windows only.

I am not a fan of chrome visors or brush guards so I won't go that route.

Any opinions will help

The tint and window visors will look fine as it will solidify the window area, but the black brush guard would stick out like a sore thumb on the front of that chrome bumper. I would stick with a stainless guard to keep everything tied together, and I'm not a fan of chrome... in any shape or form.

Thanks for the reply and I was looking at pics and the windows and black visors would be good the black brush guard isnt as nice. I dont want a stainless steal brush or bull bar so maybe a light bar instead?

All chrome or no chrome is my mantra. I think it looks like someone couldn't make up their mind when it's mix 'n match. Tint and visors will look fine though.

I think you could swing one of the light bars that come from between the tow hooks in black as that space already is black/dark.

my mantra as well. I see too many trucks from the province of Quebec that have black and chrome accessories and its ugly as hell. I really wanted a Brush guard to mount lights but I hate the look of chrome brush guards or bull guards.

window tint and visors would look fine, but for the brush guard, you really have to go chrome/stainless steel, unless you are looking at changing wheels and bumpers.

I decided against the brush guard, just going to add

tri fold Tonneau Cover
Flowmaster Delta 40
Black window visors
factory grade tint on the front windows and call it a day for now.
