Default Truck still chirping. Best way to go with air compressor?

Well I replaced my tensionor, idle pulley, and the belt and it still chirps really loud at idle. Has to be the air compressor??? Is the problem in the outer clutch part or does the whole air compressor have to be replaced, rebuilt???? What's the best way to go??

AC doesnt blow very cold....I think my dad said it didnt sound like the clutch was engaging but that might be because the coolant is low??

turn on ac is to max, open hood and look at compressor, see if clutch engages, when my compressor started going bad, the clutch would catch and start and stop , sometimes seize till I tapped it.... it did not start making really bad noise for a long time, it worked intermittently for a few months and then just starting the howling, the clutch was shot, wobbleing about a 1/2 of center, I replaced with a rebuilt one for autozone.
it cost aboyut $250, I have 01 ram 1500 5.2

Something similar happened to me. I removed the clutch-plate and discovered that only 1/4 of it was worn, the rest was rust. The truck had sat for a while. I know that rust is a very poor conductor of magnetism. I sand-blasted the clutch face, and wire-brushed the compressor pulley. 6 months and still working.
