My 17 year old daughter got it stuck the first time she drove it. Don't know how she did it, but I started the truck, put it in drive, moved it a few feet, then park & shut it off. It then came out. It hasn't happened again. Even if it did happen a few times, I sure as heck wouldn't run out & buy an underpowered GM truck!

Well, the OP did this post at 3:26, stayed for 12 minutes and never came back, I am guessing he wont come back. I am also guessing he's a GM dude who hates his truck and needs to vent on a better product in other forums. Poor guy, can't imagine what he would do if it was something else that broke.

Wink

Well since we are all talking to ourselves here I actually had this happen yesterday. Shut my truck off while still in drive and the keyfob was stuck. All I did was put it into park and it came right out. Obviously this is by design so if it is not exactly in park the end result would be a stuck keyfob. Interesting to hear that GM trucks do not have any problems.

That was an attempt on sarcasm. Sorry, I'm known to be a little dry on my delivery sometimes, lol.
It annoys me when people come onto forums just to complain about a minor problem and proceed to trash talk about their own vehicle. Its safe to say most people that do this are vehicle illiterate, and will ultimately find something to complain about on the new vehicle that they trade their old one in for. Fixing a mechanical problem is achievable, fixing dumb is a lot harder

^^^^ I got it BTW, just had to add my own twisted sarcasim into the mix. All brands have there own unique problems and no brand is immune however I have to admit that my RAM has been flawless so far, best vehicle I have ever owned bar none and coming up on three years of ownership.

Thanks for the positive there RansRAM, good to hear 3 years and all is good, I am 1 year today and had one minor problem, the clock spring would make noise in the steering, tic tic tic when you would move it left or right, well I never had time to go and get it fixed and low and behold it fixed itself, never heard it again, in last 6 months.
