Default Stock fuel limitations?

I have a 5.7 with a Procharger. Looking to add heads and cam. Want to go with big valve heads. Trying to get all the info together. I've been told that the stock fuel system will not support the 600rwhp target I'm shooting for. I already have 39.5lb/hr fuel injectors that were included with mg Procharger kit. Question is these show to support right under 600hp but trying to see what you guys making this kind if power are running.
Also, was told stock fuel pump can't keep up. Anyone aware of company that makes double hat fuel pump for the Ram? I've seen them for the LX cars but never trucks.
An option was running and inline pump or increasing the voltage to stock pump. This is cheaper route but should work. Anyone doing this now? What components are you using? How much did you spend on your setup?
Ultimately the best setup would be a custom fuel cell that fits LX dual hat pump and run AN-8 lines with new fuel rails. But looking at way more money than I want to spend. Was quoted around $2000 for the whole fuel system upgrade.
Any suggestions?

For 600whp you will need more than 700 at the engine with these trucks. Larger injectors will be needed as well as supply line. The stock fuel rails will work with new fittings to eliminate the stock crossover line. Many guys also have dual pumps or one large pump in the factory fuel basket which is the easiest part of the project. Boost-a-pump isn't going to cover your hp goal.

Completely off topic, but I just want to say good luck with what you're doing. I know I have the same plans, pro-charger and all, that I plan to do as soon as I can. So probably after college, very shortly after college. I'll be following this thread closely, good luck!

Thanks Frostking!
That's the direction I thought I was headed, didn't want to have to but if it was easy everyone would do it, right!

I'd still like people to chime in on what size injectors. The shop suggested the 6.4 HEMI injectors. I found a alum billet BBK fuel rail yesterday, so now I'm down to the pump(s). Open to suggestions.

It's addicting! I started off with just Procharger... Can't have that without long tubes...which means new exhaust. Then 2 months later Sharadon VB and Edge TC. Then 10 months later a new Paramount Performance transmission so be ready to drop some cash. Now I'm saving for heads and cam. Once there, I'll be changing my pulley and pushing 8-9psi and should be around 550 to the wheels. It's going to be fun! Thanks and you'll have to keep us posted on your progress!

Look for 60# USCar EV6 (very common GM part) or Mopar SRT-4 stage 2 injectors. (Dealer has them.). Any naturally aspirated injector is likely way too small for your plans. 80# injectors will also work. You will also need an adjustable fuel regulator with boost reference. As for pumps, the easiest will be to buy a new Walbro 400 and drop it into your existing fuel basket and an external filter. All in I spent around $800 for a -10 return system with dual pumps and stainless supply and return lines.

Awesome! Just the info I was looking for.
Did you do all the work yourself? Was the $800 just for parts?

Yes, not including injectors. At the time I was still using the stock fuel rails and brazed new fittings onto them and eliminated the crossover.

Oh yeah, I'll be saving all throughout college. Unfortunately it'll probably be a few years but by that point I should have a second vehicle so when the RAM is getting worked on I still have something to drive! It won't be cheap. I've done some quick pricing, and I know the procharger alone is what, around $6k? It'd be so easy to drop 15k into these trucks on just performance related mods.
