As much as I normally hate Apple, having an iPod is the way to go for this.

You can't create a playlist on the Uconnect just play one. what you need to do is create the playlist on your PC you can use programs like itunes or windows media player. save the playlist file to the SD card then use the browse and browse by Playlists (page 182 in Uconnect Manual) and select your playlist. You then should be able to select Shuffle and it should shuffle between songs within the playlist.

I know i have to create the playlist on a PC but, how do you do that. I know it's got to be simple but I can't figure it out and I have googled it and can't come up with anything on how to create the playlist on flash drive or SD card. If you can help out with that I'll gladly sing at you next wedding

I used windows media player to generate playlists and than copy the entire folder structure to my 64GB SD card. You can edit the playlists in notepad and copy only the files you need but it was just easier to make what I wanted and copy everything.

I use standard .WPL playlist saved in the playlist folder...it worked.

You would have been just as well off speaking in German. Explain it to me like you would explain it to a 3 yr. old.

Here are directions to creating a playlist in WMP.

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...r/11/playlists

Once you created the playlist you need to us Save As and save it to your SD card. you also need to make sure all your music libary has been copied to the SD card.

Now that looks doable. Thanks a million...so do you have a "playlist" ready for me to sing at your wedding?
