Default Parking?

First time owning such a beast of a truck. Any tips on judging were front of bumper is while parking. Also have the rear view camera,but no park assist.Does camera tell you how far away you are from object behind you?Thanks

After driving your truck you'll start to get a sense of where your wheels and front bumper are. I would practice moving the front end around things that are moveable and will not damage the front end. Practice the RIGHT way to parallel park. Most common ding is the passenger rear quarter panel. Use your mirrors all the time. Depend on mirrors more than camera unless backing straight back. Notice any obstructions and distances around your truck before getting in. Monitor ALL four corners and don't get fixated on the rear bumper and then scratch the front. I really would practice with your mirrors.

I had same issues and decided a front facing cam looking at the bull bar would be a good addition.....

I agree. I will be adding a front facing camera as well. This is my 2nd Ram (the first one was a 2010) and still to this date, I cant tell how far to pull in. I always give it too much room not to bump the car in front of me...
