Default Grounding Problem?

Hi everyone. New member hoping the brains here can help me out with a frustrating electrical problem with my 99 Ram Sport.
Occasionally the electrical system doesn't have enough juice to spin the starter. The truck can go for weeks without this happening. Then one day, whether it's been sitting unused, or still warm from a drive, it will barely (if at all) turn over. A jump start will get it going again, but it won't idle until being driven awhile. I've replaced the battery a couple of times and the cables are clean and tight (at least at the battery). Just when I think I've solved the problem, it pops up again. I work out of town and this has left my wife and kids stranded a couple of times. I won't have a lot of time to work on it on my next trip home, so I'm hoping you folks can give me a list of possible things to look for. Does a bad ground seem like a likely issue?
Thanks!
Dave

Start with the obvious. Make sure the inside of the terminals aren't crusty looking. They can be free from acid deposits but this layer can cause poor contact. Make sure the inside of the terminals are shiny. This could explain the idling problem because the computer is losing power and the idle strategy is stored in volatile memory. Also check the 6 ga. wire going to the PDC for similar problems. Check and make sure all the grounds are clean and tight from the battery.

Hi everyone I need help with my truck. When I have the headlights on my brake lights stay on and the right blinker doesn't work. When I have them off and hit the right blinker they both flash and the dash lights flash on and off. When I hit the brakes my dash lights up and running lights come on. Please help!!!
